Presentation facilities

All of the rooms are equipped with beamers and personal computers/laptops. Powerpoint and Acrobat software will be installed on all machines. If you wish to use a beamer, please bring your presentation on a flash drive. Files can be loaded onto the computers during breaks. Due to time constraints within sessions, it will not be possible to connect your own laptop to the beamers.

Conference schedule

This year’s conference will begin just after lunchtime on Thursday 12 September and will end late in the afternoon on Saturday 14 September, 2024. Please plan on attending the entire conference. The detailed programme will be available late in August.

Each participant can present a maximum of 1 paper. All participants, regardless of whether they present papers, will be required to pay a fee for attending the conference. This has been set at €100. Notice that this is only a fraction of the per capita cost, but will help in keeping ETSG conferences viable. Failure to register before the deadline implies that your paper will be dropped from the programme. Refunds and discounts are not available.

Young Scholars Initiative Travel Stipend

The YSI generously offers to contribute travel stipends to a select number of young scholars, who have limited financial resources to participate in academic conferences. Young scholars who have been accepted to present at ETSG2024 may apply directly to YSI for further consideration. For more information on the stipend, eligibility criteria and application process, please see here.
